The Deep

Created for the Brackeys Game Jam 2026.1 by AstroBear

You need 300 Watts to power the first research station in the deepest part of the sea, Challenger Deep. Build machines to automate and create new materials. Mine Sediment, Stone, and Quartz. Create Clay and Refined Stone using machines. Build a generator over a hydrothermal vent to create 50 Watts of energy.

Click to use your drill and mine ores. Place drills over ores, refiners and mills anywhere and generators must be placed over hydrothermal vents!

TO TURN ON A MACHINE, INSPECT IT BY USING YOUR DRILL ON THE MACHINE AND FLIPPING THE TOGGLE SWITCH. IF YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY, GET A GENERATOR.

TIP: Near endgame, sell all your stuff for generators to win the game and see a cool cutscene I created!
